Why I have been MIA on my blog!
Hi babes its Ava!
I know I haven't been active on my blog since March and I apologize to all of you amazing people, also known as my subscribers and friends of the internet. This year was crazy busy, and I was in no way prepared for the 10 letter word called Highschool. I was a ambitious freshmen ready to embark on my Highschool journey. I will admit school was not always peaches and cream. It was more like tears, lots, and lots of tears, stressful study sessions, and sleepless nights. I was not expecting my first year to look like a disaster but there I was trying to make a simple B on a test when all I was used to were shiny golden stars and A's. Highschool was my wakeup call. Six things I learned from my freshmen experience simply are...
1. Procrastination is a no go in EVERY situation
2. Teachers are not your friends ( Don't even bother asking: "Is there extra credit?"
3. Teenagers are mean, moody, and straight up suck
4. It's definitely not Highschool musical ( even for a theater student like myself)
5. weekends are simply brought to you by stacks of homework not fun. ( I made sure mine looked like more fun than homework, explains a lot.)
6. And that the next three years I spend walking through the hallways of my school I will make them the best days of my life. They can be three years of hell or a balance of fun, and studies.
Don't get me wrong I love being 15, but not a day goes by that I don't miss coming home from school and watching re-runs of Hannah Montana while not having a care in the world.
I am overjoyed with it being summer. I thought summer was going to be carefree days laying on a beach with some fruity drink in one hand and a magazine in the other. Instead I'm sitting in my dining room table with one hand on my laptop keyboard and a pen in the other learning about the respiratory system through my online health program. I can never simply get a break from school ever. And you may be saying "poor Ava summer school sucks"! well you see its technically not summer school. I wakeup whenever I want and sit in the comfort of my lovely home earning my health credit so I can enjoy a free period my senior year. I've had a great, relaxed, summer so far! I mean the first week I saw Harry Styles live in concert, and left to walk the streets of my fav city New Orleans the day after. I've hung with some friends, eaten great food, watched a ton of movies and slept till 4:00 in the afternoon. If that's not summer, I don't know what is. I'm writing this article first off to explain why I have been MIA, and second to tell myself and all of you things change. As you grow older responsibilities grow, your priorities change, and you sometimes have to work hard and party harder later.
I love all of you extraordinary individuals I call subscribers! Thank you for being patient and supporting me through this challenging year. I cant wait to share exciting news and more articles with you.
Until then keep on living life with good vibes only, and no regrets! Take chances, try new things, take an adventure, LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!!!!
