Grocery Haul!! My Fav Food Alternatives!!!

Hi babes! First, I just wanted to start by saying thank you! July 17th 2018 I celebrated the first anniversary of my blog!! Huge thanks to all of you wonderful people I call my subscribers! Much love!

This blog post is simply some of my favorite snacks, meals, and desserts. The goodies I share with you today are not only delicious, they're nutritious! One of the best feelings is eating cuisine that's filling your system up with nutrients while providing strength, not unnecessary fats and toxins.

I want everyone who reads this article to know, you don't have to starve yourself or take deathly measures to stay fit and get the body image you strive to have. I also want to go ahead and point out that it's okay to have thighs, a butt, and boobs. Its also okay to not have those features! Everyone is beautiful no matter what shape, size, or race! (Stay tuned for my next blog post to hear more on "Body Image"!)

Let's get started!

1. Annie's Organic Cinnamon Rolls

These Cinnamon Rolls will leave a satisfying sensation in your mouth! Just watching them bake in the oven will have you drooling.

The only difference between the classic cinnamon rolls by Pillsbury you enjoyed as a child on a Sunday morning and these Annie's, are the ingredients. You will find that many food alternatives are just the healthier version of a classic and taste so much better.

2. Virgil's Cream Soda

On to one of my fav refreshments, Virgil's is a classic cream soda made with natural ingredients and the finest vanilla beans. It's also gluten free! It's on my list as an alternative, its better than any other regular soda.

3. Near East Couscous

Couscous is a dish served like rice, it's made from small granules of pasta. You can choose from a variety of flavors. I personally like the flavor, Herbed Chicken. You can choose to eat couscous by itself or with a side of veggies and/or your choice of meat, chicken, or fish! I prefer salmon and veggies. Yum!

4. SO Delicious & Immaculate Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Growing up and still to this day I have never been a fan of milk nor ice cream. Many Studies have shown that dairy is the answer to many acne problems and allergies. Omitting one specific thing such as dairy from your daily diet could clear your skin and give you lasting health and beauty benefits.

SO Delicious is a coconut milk frozen dessert also known as my alternative for ice cream. It's the perfect treat on a hot summer day, or when you're in the mood for something cold and tasty. Like regular ice cream, SO Delicious comes in many different flavors. The one shown in the pic below is Chocolate. Talk about SO Delicious!

My next dessert, Immaculate Chocolate Chunk cookies, are amazing! Unlike the popular Nestle Toll House cookies this cookie dough is gluten free, non-dairy, without any artificial flavors or preservatives. These fresh baked cookies will leave you wanting more.

5. Stur

Stur is a powder to add in your water to bring flavor to your tastebuds!

I used to use a similar powder, Crystal Light, but unlike Crystal Light, Stur contains less sugar and is organic. I use Stur occasionally when I want a little something more than water which is always my first choice.

6. Amy's Vegetable Lasagna

For all of my gluten free, dairy free babes this alternative is perfect for you! Like I said earlier, I'm a fan of dairy free products. This is one of my fav meals to have for lunch. I also like it for dinner when I'm craving something light.

This Lasagna is: Gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, vegan, and kosher.

Just like a lot of my other suggestions in this article Amy's has a range of flavors for lasagna, and other snacks/meals such as their take on pizza rolls and burritos.

7. Cascade ice sparkling water

Cascade is a sodium free, caffeine free, gluten free sparkling water that adds a crisp splash of flavor to your mouth. It's the perfect party refreshment and picnic essential. Cheers!

8.Daiya Cheese

Daiya cheese is perfect for anyone who has dietary needs when it comes to cheese and is dairy-free. This has to be one of the best alternatives on my list just because I like pizza from time to time and can finally eat nachos, and grilled cheese sandwiches as well. Yay me!

Daiya Cheese is free of the following: dairy, gluten, soy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.

9. Vegan pizza's

This next meal is a quick do-it-yourself pizza. Perfect pizza for school lunch, a fast dinner, and a healthy substitute to your fav pizza from places such as Dominos.

Everything down below shows how you can create your own tasty pizza!

1st box: Flatbread pockets ( your dough)

2nd box: Daiya Cheese ( Dairy free)

3rd box: Turkey pepperoni, Organic sliced olives, and MInced garlic

4th box: Tomatoes, organic baby spinach, mini peppers, and pineapple

( For my pizza sauce I use Ragu's garden combination pasta sauce)

Remember everything shown above is optional but trust me your taste buds will love you forever if you follow the steps above!

Finished Product:

Pizza shown with turkey pepperoni, dairy free cheese, and pineapple:

And that's everything babes!! If you liked this post and would like to see more food related posts or hauls of any kind; let me know by sending me a chat down below!! If you try any of these alternatives let me know or share the hashtag #AlternativesWithAvaMadison
