Fun things to do in the Houston Area!
Weekends are for relaxation and Netflix. Every once in a while I like to get off my couch and have a good time in the city. Being from New Orleans, the city of delicious cuisine, great company, and live music on the streets of the French Quarter, you know I was bound to be a city girl! There's a variety of delicious restaurants, dessert spots, and exciting shopping centers all throughout Houston. Here's a list of my personal fav spots. Enjoy babes!
Restaurants & sweet spots:
1. Sprinkles Cupcake ATM
Two words....pure genius! This is such a fun creative way to pick up a sweet treat with friends! You can find this {Sprinkle} of fun in the Highland Village area of Houston. I've gone multiple times, and the pink ATM never disappoints! Location: Highland Village
2. Amorino (Gelato)
This beautiful, artsy, ice cream cone will have your taste buds in for a treat! Not only is the gelato shops signature rose shape Instagram worthy, it also is a great crisp cool treat on a hot summer day in Houston! Location: River Oaks District
3. Hopdoddy Burger Bar
Absolutely Mouth watering!!!
This Burger joint will definitely have you coming back for their juicy selection of burgers, yummy milkshakes, & crispy fries! Location: River oaks District
4. Eddie V's
Eddie V's will have you dreaming about their scrumptious fish tacos & lobster wontons!
Location: Kirby Drive ( there are multiple locations)
5. The Kitchen at the Dunlavy
English Egg muffin and potato wedges
Not only is the Dunlavy just known for their delicious food, but it's their scenery that steals the show. The display of chandeliers throughout the restaurant is exquisite! Location: Buffalo Bayou Park
6. Tiny Boxwoods
Tiny's food is delish but their chocolate chip cookies and garden scenery is the highlight for many. My fav visit was in October.

7. Jupiter Pizza & Waffles
If your looking for something out of this world Jupiter is the way to go! I'm a fan of the "southern bell", but my go to are the "waffleletts" shown above, with chicken bites yum! Location: Sugarland Texas ( town center)

River Oaks District is one of my fav areas in Houston to have a day with my girls.
2. City Centre
Cute area to shop, hang with friends, and there
are photo opportunities everywhere you look!

Concerts are one my fav things to do! I love the environment of a concert. You have something in common with a hundreds of people in one arena. Not only is the Toyota Center a concert venue, but also a sports venue.
4. Movie Date!
Late night movie dates are always a good idea! Super fun!
